Who doesn't adore the lifestyle of living in the Lowcountry? Notable actor and comedian Bill Murray is a resident of Charleston, SC... he loves it here. In case you're new here and didn't know, Bill is co-owner of the Riverdogs Baseball Team. If you haven't come across that chance encounter of running into Bill, head to the Riverdogs stadium - oops, Joseph P. Riley Stadium - when the season starts up again. It's a great place for family fun, some of the BEST baseball food... oh yeah - and star-gazing too! Darius Rucker - home-grown native Charlestonian has gone from choir singer to front man of the former rock band Hootie and the Blowfish to country music sensation. Darius is a community driven native who enjoys giving back to his hometown through various local charities in the Lowcountry. A graduate of Middleton High School and the REAL USC, University of South Carolina, he's carved his way through the music scene and is adored by MANY fans and resides in his hometown of Charleston. Go Razorbacks and Go Gamecocks! Well, maybe not the Razorbacks since Middleton High School is no more - but for those of us who attended Middleton, or played against the Razorbacks - ahem!, coach John McKissick - we'll always remember.
